Rain is still busy fulfilling his mandatory military service obligation in the Republic of Korea Army.  His enlistment date was October 11.  Military service is required for all able-bodied male ROK citizens, from the ages of 19 to 37 years of age.  The normal length of service can be anywhere from 22-26 months.

Rain began his stint as an active-duty soldier at the 306 Reserve Battalion, in the city of Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.  He is now serving as an assistant instructor with the 8210 Recruit Training Center Battalion (12th Company).  For more information on how and where to write to Rain, please visit Cloud USA's Media Blog.

You may help Cloud USA support Rain during his military service period by participating in our Yellow Ribbon for Rain projects (digital calendar and Twibbon campaign).  These projects were designed to help us build a stronger and more united fan-base for Rain while he is away and to help us demonstrate to Rain how much we care about him.

Clouds everywhere are anxiously awaiting the release of Rain's most recent movie:  Soar: Into the Sun.  The movie's release is scheduled for early 2012.  We will share the release date as soon as we know it.

We will continue to work hard to find news of Rain, even while he is serving with the ROK Army.  So, please stay tuned to find out what Rain might have in store for us next.  It may be more than you think.

Happy New Year, from Cloud USA
